Good Faith Estimates
If you are uninsured, you have the right, under federal law, to be provided with a “Good Faith Estimate”, explaining how much your medical care may cost. Your rights under this law as a patient are:
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any
non-emergency items or services. - We are required to provide you with a Good Faith Estimate in writing, for the care you
may be receiving from Sapphire Community Health, at least one business day before
you medical service. - You may also ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service/appointment
with us.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
