Prescriptions and Refills

Sapphire Community Health Center partners with retail pharmacies in the area to streamline care for our patients. We will happily send your prescriptions to any pharmacy you use. We will also send your prescriptions out of the area for to any mail order pharmacy.

If you need a refill on a medication, we ask that you call your pharmacy to request this refill. They will then send your provider a request. This is usually the quickest way to get a refill.

Sometimes it may not be appropriate to refill a medication without a visit to your provider.

If you run out of refills, that usually means you are overdue to see your provider regarding that medication. You may be asked to schedule an appointment in order to ensure we are properly monitoring your medications.

Managing your medications is a shared responsibility between you and your provider.
